ABOUT
ME

Hi, I'm Richard
We all need help in walking through difficult times of our lives whether those times are past or present. I am committed to walking along side you on the road to freedom and healing that each of us must take.
As a Pastoral Counselor and Life Coach I use a collaborative approach that involves a cognitive/behavioral view alongside a faith based perspective. The integration of these approaches as well as my unique education and personal experience will help you achieve emotional, relational and spiritual health.
Throughout my life, my calling has been to help others. My professional career started with "At Risk Youth" teaching job skills and coaching life skills utilizing Horticultural Therapy. I spent twelve years in full-time ministry as a Youth Pastor teaching teens to be leaders in their church ministries and in their schools while challenging them in their spiritual growth. Prior to moving to Missouri in 2013, I worked in private practice for five years in Denver, Colorado specializing in men's sexual addiction, anger issues, emotional anorexia, self-worth, true intimacy and couples recovering from the pain of sexual addiction.
It can be overwhelming to find the right person to reach out to for yourself or your loved one. I also know how difficult it can be to take that first step which is why I offer an initial phone consultation to help determine if we are a good fit.
